XXLarge! Phal gigantea var alba “Ta Wei” x self, species, fragrant

The most rare of color forms of Phalaenopsis gigantea, often referred to as alba, flava or decolorata.

No matter what you call it, it is magnificent with its creamy chartreuse waxy flowers heavily overlaid with lime green blotches.

A hot to warm grower, a mature plant is capable of producing hundreds of 5-6 cm fragrant flowers on pendent branching inflorescences.

Do not remove inflorescences that remain green since it can re-flower on them again and again.

Allow this species to dry slightly between waterings and maintain a strong root system to keep its large leaves hydrated.
