Maxillaria tenuifolia ‘Yamada’ AM/AOS, Yellow variant of the “coconut orchid,” known for its naturally occurring coconut-y fragrance.

This species is native to Mexico, Nicaragua and possibly Costa Rica. It is famous for its coconut cream pie scent. Grow in medium to bright light for best flowering. Likes moisture at roots. Climbing pseudobulbs with grass like leaves.
These become large beautiful plants with many growths and flowers.
