Den. officinale, 铁皮石斛, very fragrant

Dendrobium officinale is native to Southeast Asia.

This is a deciduous plant that drops its leaves in the fall and flowers in winter spring. All the leaves can totally fall off during or before flowering.

Grow in cool to warm temps. These plants do require cooler temps to flower with nights in the upper 50's to low 60's Day temps can be from 65 to 75 in winter and up to 10 degrees warmer in summer. The green/ yellow flowers are variable and have red to purple markings in the lip. Some can have mahogany colors in the lip. The plant is smaller growing and has canes about 6-9 inches tall at most.

The characteristic feature of this Den is its rust skins of canes, very unique
