Den. Hsinying Sweetscent “W-3”, cascade type, sweet fruit scent!

【NOTE: This type of Dendrobium drops its leaves just before coming into flower season. Once the plant is done flowering new growths will emerge from the base of the plant and produce keikies along the canes.】

The plant typically grows to be small to medium-sized, with thin, upright stems that can reach up to 12-18 inches in height. The stems are covered with small, light green leaves that are densely packed.

In the spring, Den. Hsinying Sweetscent produces clusters of small to medium-sized flowers that are typically pinky in color, with a dark pink center. The flowers have a distinctive shape, with a long, tubular lip and petals that are narrow and pointed. The flowers are produced in great abundance, and they have a sweet, pleasant fragrance that can fill a room.

Blooms in the spring.

Orchid Care: Generally easy to grow. Provide dappled to bright, indirect light and moderate humidity. Plants should be kept moist during active growth (spring and summer). But reduce water and fertilizer somewhat during the cooler months. Plants should be snug in their pots.
